  Funding provided to Tawas Area Schools by the Education Foundation since its establishment in 1990 totals $126,500.  The TAEF awards grants to staff members in the fall each year.  In addition, scholarships are presented to graduating high school seniors each spring.  Contributions can be made this organization by sending your check payable to TAEF, P.O. Box 81, East Tawas, MI 48730.  For additional information, contact the superintendent’s office at 984-2250.
